Apr. 22nd, 2009 06:41 pmAll that work to get decent Shroomishes finally paid off in the form of me having awesome Shroomishes. Not only that, but thanks to the wonders of the internet, the massive pile of leftovers can be traded away and turned into even more goodies. Turning box clutter into that much more gain--that's the miracle of trading for you.
You know, it's really amazing how times have progressed. Pokemon has always been about trading, but since I was always lacking in the real-life-friends department, I was always that kid who just brought Pokemon with him wheneve he went to chess club tournaments (yes I was in the chess club, shut up :() in the dim hope that someone else also brought their copy or something, and was always disappointed. Today, I can make a post on the dedicated LiveJournal community for this sort of thing and receive a literally overwhelming (dear God give me some time to catch my breath people) response within minutes, or in the case of those two people who both tried to ninja-claim Shroomish #8, seconds.
