It only took four and a half years or so from inception through final release, but the day has finally arrived. At long last, I am proud to present the official release of my first novel, The Afflicted.

Not that I would complain if this got so popular and hot-selling that traditional publishers took notice, mind you!

(Hey, we all have stupid obviously unrealistic "someday I'm going to win the lottery, and then...." dreams. Mine just happen to start with the fact that I still created something, even in the worst case of it not going anywhere. :D)

Congratulations, man! Signed up for Smashwords, bought, paid for and downloaded!

One slight thought - the .pdf download doesn't appear to come with theOwlette's cover illustration! (I suppose in hindsight, this should've been obvious, since I'm imagining the .rtf format version doesn't have graphics of any kind.) Is there any way I could get a copy of it, since I don't have a Kindle or other e-reader?

It's been a long trip to get here - really, really well done for having the patience and determination to see it through! The end result has been so very worth it. :) *hugs you close*

There is some fluctuation, but that is about the rough average of the price of a fiction novel ebook on Amazon/Smashwords, yes.
