DOGS.
- "Warning: Dog Marriage"???

- THIS IS ABOUT A MINUTE AND A HALF INTO TONIGHT'S SESSION BY THE WAY
- Oh, that's the Dog Marriage.
- "Icecap and Snowdrake confront you, sighing. Jerry." I'm about an hour into this game and it has easily and by far the most inventive enemies of all time.
- Can I just talk about the Snowdrake a little, by the way? I already knew that this game was a massive deconstruction of RPG monster slaying as meaningless XP grinding fodder, with enemies that all have their own unique personalities and goals and likes and desires and lives and families (you monster.) However, I am absolutely floored by Toby's ability to convey so much through just the interface. The Snowdrake is comes to you and tells a bad Toriel-tier pun, then looks expectantly for your reaction like a miniature Napstablook. If you laugh, he blissfully declares, "See? Laughs! Dad was wrong!" And then he can be Spared. This is (to my knowledge) not a "real" character that exists in the overworld. This is an enemy that only exists as a random encounter on the battle screen. And yet, there's a STORY there. There is DEPTH. In just that tiny little isolated space! This game is incredible.
- You know, I almost had the explanation for the color tile puzzle down before the whole thing turned out to be a false alarm anyway.
- Everything about the Greater Dog is amazing, from the to the Sparing progression to even the music. I love this game.
- Aw, poor Gryftrot. Another miniature story all in an isolated random encounter!
- That's... another dog on that rope....
- Aww, Papyrus is turning soft. You adorable dork.
- I HAVE FOUND YIFFTOPIA. God I want to talk to everyone but I really should call it a night here. There's a save point here, so... NEXT TIME, THIS TOWN THAT I ALREADY LOVE EVEN AT FIRST GLANCE.
