X-Tetarti has been vanquished! X-Pempti... still hasn't.
The Under the Knife games like to give all the GUILT strains their own nicknames in the pre-operation briefing of the X missions, like it's suddenly a professional boxing/wrestling/MMA match of some sort. (Girard "The Dragon" Drake, etc.) In UTK1, X-Pempti was also known as "Armored Bacteria." In UTK2, it's "Rampaging Nightmare." Guess which one I consider more appropriate.

Date: 2010-06-08 10:50 pm (UTC)I've just looked back at the names for the UTK2 X-operations - they go well into Rhapsody song title territory from here on! I only find Tetarti's questionable, as it's "Myriad of Toxins" (well, five).

Date: 2010-06-09 10:09 am (UTC)The character design is amazing, the costume is phenomenal. Just put him in Street Fighter or something. We all know that Vega and Blanka are pretty much the only interesting character in the entirety of Street Fighter, so there's plenty of room for Amon to make it three. But no, he was a diamond in the rough that is Doomsday Warrior, and is thus completely forgotten. :(
(And also Grimrock for standard yiffy furry bait factor.)
