X-Tetarti has been vanquished! X-Pempti... still hasn't.

The Under the Knife games like to give all the GUILT strains their own nicknames in the pre-operation briefing of the X missions, like it's suddenly a professional boxing/wrestling/MMA match of some sort. (Girard "The Dragon" Drake, etc.) In UTK1, X-Pempti was also known as "Armored Bacteria." In UTK2, it's "Rampaging Nightmare." Guess which one I consider more appropriate.

You know, I never even thought of the X-operation names like that before, but in the context of fighting it's now made me think of Soul Blade and how each character had a name like that that was used in the storyline (Hell Guardian, Innocent Darkside, that's all I can remember).

I've just looked back at the names for the UTK2 X-operations - they go well into Rhapsody song title territory from here on! I only find Tetarti's questionable, as it's "Myriad of Toxins" (well, five).

Shush, you, those happen to be the only two good characters in the game. :)

Those names are the best among the selection, from what I remember, too - I'd rather be either of those than "Fat Bomber".

Amon is a tragic case of a seriously awesome character being completely wasted in a totally substandard series-less game. I mean, he's the Heavy Metal King! Just look at him!



The character design is amazing, the costume is phenomenal. Just put him in Street Fighter or something. We all know that Vega and Blanka are pretty much the only interesting character in the entirety of Street Fighter, so there's plenty of room for Amon to make it three. But no, he was a diamond in the rough that is Doomsday Warrior, and is thus completely forgotten. :(
