I can second the "... Well. That was a thing."
A Raven Monologue is a free five-minute semi-interactive film. The only real controls are clicking forward and back to advance the story, like moving to the next panel of a comic. (Even this gets played with a bit partway through, though.) As you click through, a wordless abstract story unfolds, accompanied by charming artwork and a beautiful if somewhat sad song.
It is artsy as hell and open to interpretation (I personally see it as a tale about loneliness; the raven yearns for company and either conjures up imaginary townsfolk or gets lost in memories about now-departed ones, only to slink home alongside his sad piles of rocks as reality ensues, but who knows?) but it's pretty and well made.
Recommended, partly because it has such a low barrier to entry. Much like Kitten adventures in city park, it's short, easy, and free, so why not, but there's also DLC pack with wallpapers and stuff if you want to toss a few dollars the developers' way to thank them for this. Meanwhile, I'll be here for hugs if anyone needs them.
