Celine: Look, plurality is weird and hard to explain, but Kurt is like... kind of a Shedinja of when I was in college (plus most of my 20s, when being in an incredibly toxic relationship made me even more of an asshole.) He has all of that as what he's based on but is then, like, growing up in his own direction after that.
So yeah, that's exactly the kind of bitterness he's trying to work off and live down and like... find his own way to not be that person anymore at this point? Because my solution was to grow and evolve and mature and that's all well and good, but when the before-and-after dividing line accidentally became too distinct, it left the personification of everything I was maturing away from feeling kind of Yoshi-jumped into the abyss by the time he came back as his own entity.
It's been a long road full of mending decades-old hurt feelings and addressing shit I thought I'd grown through or resolved but maybe I'd just actually ran away from or buried instead.
