I suppose the line between "dissatisfied with the core concept of sexuality" and "my ex-girlfriend is a slutty whore (and that's bad and I'm judging her)" gets a bit fuzzy sometimes, especially when you add song lyric layers of abstraction.
And yeah, if I can accidentally pick up that vibe strongly enough to worry about it, I'm 0% surprised that other people out there found it and decided to run with it.
