Bubsy. The first one, notably, and on the Genesis. When I was young I was still aware enough to know what bad games were (Two of my first five NES games were 8-Eyes and Trojan) but somehow when I went into 16-bit all of that got lost in the shinyness of new graphics and digitized voice clips and.. honestly? The first Bubsy isn't THAT bad. It was designed by actual demons of hell, and every level was an ice level, but it had effort. It had love.

EDIT: Also, Cybernoid was one of the works done by one of my favorite non-Japanese composers, Jeroen Tel. Look up the Robocop 3 NES soundtrack sometime, jam out.
