As much of a great time as the convention was, the after-con hangout with pizza and friends was the best part of it all for me; getting to be with you guys was more of a priority for me than the convention itself.
It was a bit more enlightening than I expected, though. Never quite realized just how accurate those instances of "XAQ: *earscritch* KJORTEO: O.O *murrrrr*" were until then. XD
All that being said, it was also great getting to almost meet my little muse in person for the first time, lack of corporeal form notwithstanding. (DISCLAIMER: Celine is being gracious enough not to out anyone who's in the "astral stuff" filter, and while I have no problem outing myself, I will show that exact same discretion to everyone else. To do otherwise would be a breach of trust I would never forgive myself for.) Sara's always been fun to draw, and the fact that doing so doubled as a way to celebrate the fact that she's, y'know, there was just icing on the cake.
Somewhat glad I don't have as much time to readjust to reality as you do, to be honest...one, having that much time with nothing important to do is a bad idea for me because good lord does my brain places, but also because I simply didn't need it. I honestly kinda hate how easily I can switch gears like that, but by the time I'd gotten to my last flight on the way back here, post-con blues were pretty much gone.
The warm fuzzies of seeing some of my closest friends and being back home with the fandom again are still going, though, so maybe it's not so bad after all.

For example, this adorable mental image I had when Celine mentioned how her back was bugging her. While I don't mean to make fun of physical ailments, it was just too adorable and, to a certain extent, somewhat plausible.
