I was having a good time at first, then eventually started to get a "Oh dear, this water is getting deeper than I thought it would" vibes but by then I was committed. I think I went from "I think this may be the wrong game for me" to "I know this is the wrong game for me" about five or ten levels ago, but I'd started and I didn't want to officially abandon a puzzle game God damn it. It just kept getting worse, though, and eventually I realized I was not going to win.
If I'd been closer to the end when I broke down, then maybe. But when I was in that much despair and still with 20 levels to go... no. There's a such thing as cutting your losses.
