- Enemies that can successfully be spared now have their name in yellow, which makes it easier to tell figure out the Act commands (when their name turns yellow, it worked.) That's pretty handy, although in the very same message that explained that I could do that, the game also straight up warned me not to rely on it as there will probably be times I have to spare someone even when it's not yellow (Toriel?)
- Was the press X to skip text (well, instantly print it all instead of waiting for the scroll) feature in the demo? I can't remember but it's another huge quality of life improvement if so. Even if it comes from a frog who's sad that everyone always skips his text and gets even more sad if you do it too (the game checks.) Damn it, Toby.
- "Eat your greens." And with that, Vegetoids finally have a non-fight way of being spared. Thank God. The process for sparing them is actually really cool and single-handedly turns one of the least creative enemies in the ruins into perhaps the most. I actually like Vegetoids now. Amazing.
- Toriel still remarks on what an "interesting" child you are if you flirt with her after calling her "mom." GOTY
Made it up to just outside Toriel's house. Next time: probably feels!
