(no subject)

With my birthday coming up, I decided to dust off my Animal Crossing: Wild World game and try to get back into the swing of things in the few days leading up to it. I had a text file where I wrote down dates and such so I remembered when the last time I had played was, so I knew what day to order my DS to pretend it was while playing so I could brace myself for the imminent time jump apocalypse (by making sure that all the really important rare flowers were stored away safely and no one I actually liked was about to move out and such before making the jump back to today.) I also decided to catch the last of the seasonal bugs and fish that had been available during the gap, because like hell I'm waiting and just hoping I'll still be playing AC by the time next December rolls around again.

I actually completed my bug and fish collections and thus got the golden net and rod! WOO

Now that it's the present, the town is in serious enough disrepair that I actually have a rafflesia. Ouch. :(

Still, worth it to bring everyone to the present, finally get the golden net and rod, and log in on my birthday because the speech and music and such is sweet enough to be kind of a guilty pleasure for me. It's like, awww. <3
